REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT AT THE MAY DUGAN CENTER

In the summer of 2023, the May Dugan Center is happy to announce the launching of the Refugee Resettlement Program through our affiliation with the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS).

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Refugee Resettlement Program at the May Dugan Center is a US State Department Reception and Placement Program. The May Dugan Center will be intensively working with Refugee Families from their first day in the United States through their first few months in Cleveland. During that time, MDC will be assisting with securing safe housing, connecting Refugees to medical providers and benefits, and assisting them with securing Jobs for their ongoing financial stability.

Following the initial inventive resettlement period, Refugee Families will be able to benefit from the other programs and services of the May Dugan Center including: English classes, Food Assistance, Behavioral Health Counseling, and Workforce Development.

The May Dugan Center has been working with Refugee Families for many years and is excited to deepen our work with this community.
